Dear Customer,

At the end of March I made the incredibly difficult decision to close all Oddie’s bakery shops. This is the first time this has ever happened, including during WW2.

The decision was made because I did not feel like we could trade in a way that kept our staff and customers safe.

A select number of shops will now re-open on Thursday 14th May:

Scotland Road, Nelson                        Leeds Road, Nelson,

Market Street, Colne                            Skipton Road, Foulridge,

Burnley Road, Padiham,                     Padiham Road, Burnley,

Coal Clough Lane, Burnley,                Colne Road, Burnley,

Brownside Avenue, Pike Hill,             Bond Street, Todmorden,

Hopefully more will follow over the coming weeks.

You will notice that we have introduced some changes to keep our staff and customers safe:

We have restricted our opening hours at this shop to between

9am – 3pm on Weekdays

9am – 1.30pm on Saturdays (this will vary so please check locally)

We have reduced the range of products available.

We have less staff working in the shop so that we can try and maintain social distancing.

We are allowing a limited number of customers into the shop at any one time.

As a locally owned family business we rely on our local and loyal customers who we have been serving quality products to since 1905.  Thank you for all the messages of support we have received so far, they are very much appreciated. Oddie’s is an independent family business and we are reliant on your on-going support. Please do continue to visit our shops with confidence.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at info@oddiesbakery.co.uk

With all good wishes,

Lara Oddie
